Fittonia albinvenis is native to the rainforests of Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador and northern Brazil. In its natural habitat it creeps around the rainforest floor, so medium to low light is perfect for Fittonia indoors. They prefer a lot of humidity (pebble trays or misting work great for this), and have a bit of a temperament. You have to water this guy every few days or it will wilt dramatically. We recommend Fittonia in our Tropical soil mix. It holds the perfect amount of moisture and is nutrient rich.
