The maharani is a hybrid of Alocasia reginula and Alocasia rugosa and is known for its thick silvery leafs. Typical of terrestrial aroids Maharani wants to dry out in between waterings and needs bright light. Direct morning light or diffuse afternoon light will be just fine. Alocasia have a higher propensity for spider mites so misting the leaves will keep it humid and deter pests. We recommend growing this plant in out aroid soil.
